Do you like adventure and spending time outdoors in new places? Fancy Creek’s cedar forest trail is not only a great spring adventure to have, but it also makes for a relaxing trip. If you like a good hike or a bit of mountain biking, you’ll appreciate the beauty on this Kansas trail. Come check it out!
Welcome to Fancy Creek Trail in Fancy Creek State Park, a forested area to explore on a stunning hiking trail.
In total, it's 5.8 miles long and loops around to the beginning, just in case you want to take it around more than once. It's a bumpy ride in some places but doesn't take too long at a good pace.
Along the trail, you'll find lots of climbing opportunities. If you happen to be hiking with kids in tow, this is a great way to get rid of all that excess energy.
Dogs are allowed on the trail as long as they're leashed, and it's accessible year-round, but probably won't be a good idea right after a good rain. Make sure to take any trash or food scraps with you when you leave, and we'll keep this trail clean for future visitors!
