We love a good small town burger joint, and this one has been serving us for over 70 years. Can you imagine eating burgers at one place your whole life? Grab a burger and sit down with old and new friends for a great meal. It’s the perfect stop along your travels, or the perfect reason to travel.

If you're not familiar, let me introduce you to Bowman's Nu Grille Cafe, also known as Nu Grille by most who have dined here.

This beautiful diner has been serving since 1946, with a setup that lets you socialize with fellow diners or just watch your food be made right in front of your eyes.

Of course, the star of the show that has kept this place going is their amazing burger. They're made to order, and pair best with homemade french fries or onion rings.

They also serve other fare, like these hot dogs covered in toppings, or a breakfast spread served until 11 a.m. that would make any Kansan happy.

Additionally, you should never leave without sampling their pie with a scoop of ice cream. When they have it, it's a must-try.

Nu Grille is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
