There’s tons to do in the big cities in Kansas. A visit to Kansas City or Wichita is so much fun – it feels like there’s a never-ending array of attractions. However, we have plenty of small towns in the Sunflower State that are also worthy of an adventure! I love going to small towns. They’re great spots to get a good feel for what a state is like, and you can learn so much about a state’s culture and people by visiting a sparsely-populated area. One of our favorite small towns in Kansas is Ellis. This little city in the western part of the state has a population of right around 2,000, but there’s plenty to do.
