Waterfront dining is typically the purvey of coastal cities. Beach towns, New England, California: these are likely the spots that come to mind when you think of dining with a waterside view. As a landlocked state, we admit that there aren’t as many options for waterfront restaurants in Kansas. But that doesn’t mean there’s none, and one of our favorites is The Old Spaghetti Factory in Wichita. This place offers up waterfront dining like you’d find in a coastal city, the food is excellent, and the ambiance is lovely. Check it out:
The Old Spaghetti Factory has several locations throughout the United States, but this is the only one in Kansas. It has been in this location for just a few years but has proved to be quite popular.
Like all The Old Spaghetti Factory locations, the Wichita restaurant has a trolley car in the dining room where diners can sit and eat. You'll also find the chain's signature antique lighting and beautiful decor.
Dining here is a great opportunity for a family-friendly waterfront restaurant in Kansas that won't break the bank. All dishes come with bread and a soup or salad.
This spot has interesting decor and we love that the menu is slightly elevated while still being affordable. Waterfront dining in Kansas doesn't have to be expensive or require black-tie outfits!
