One Of The Most Rustic Restaurants In Kansas Is Also One Of The Most Delicious
Here in the Midwest, we love a place with nice rustic charm. Maybe it’s our independent attitude, maybe it’s our pioneer history, but we absolutely love a place that’s got a nice down-home type feeling. One rustic restaurant in Kansas that provides great vibes and delicious food is Culinaria in Lawrence. This spot serves up incredible eats and is housed in a unique building that’s got quite the fascinating history!

This charming building has lived a number of interesting lives. Constructed in 1863, it was once a stable for the Kansas Cavalry. It was later used as a butcher's shop and slaughterhouse, and in the 1970s and 1980s, it was a Volkswagen mechanic's shop.

Next time you're looking for something a little off-the-beaten-path, try out Culinaria!
