We love traveling around Kansas to see everything beautiful about our favorite state, but have you seen just how beautiful some of our historic homes are? This Queen Anne Victorian home in Lindsborg, Kansas is almost too pretty to believe. This place is so colorful, I think I’m going to make a booking for this fall! Will you do the same?
This gorgeous Queen Anne Victorian home is none other than the Rosberg House in Lindsborg, a colorful beauty surrounded by an equally colorful town.
Believe it or not, the outside of this beautiful home didn't always look this way. Built in 1885, the home wasn't sold until 1925 after C.V. Rosberg died. After a four and a half year renovation starting in 1996, today's home is what we have left to enjoy. Over 130 years later, we truly enjoy seeing this home opened as a bed and breakfast opportunity.
Breakfast happens daily, served at your requested time so you don't have to adjust your schedule too much if you are an early or late riser. It varies from eggs and sausage to crepes and fruit, depending on your dietary needs and preference. Then again, I'll eat any fresh breakfast that's ready in the morning when I wake up.
Not all of their rooms are loud and colorful, so you don't have to overstimulate your eyes if you don't prefer a fancy room. We wouldn't want the decoration choices to keep you from peaceful slumber.
