Kansans can be crazy about many things, from sunsets to small businesses, but when it comes to the subject of food, barbecue is pretty high on that list. You’ve had bar-be-que ribs, but have you had bob-be-que ribs before? RJ’s makes them perfectly juicy, so don’t be afraid to order the best. Come see for yourself!
Welcome to RJ's Bob-Be-Que, a restaurant that's had plenty of attention yet still deserves more for the flavors they put out.
RJ's was opened by Robert "Bob" Palmgren and named after his son, serving up BBQ that had been showcased in plenty of contests around the Kansas City area.
They've been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives as well as others, and they have no intention of stopping anytime soon. Who would, with such great barbecue?
Whether you're here for breakfast or barbecue, you're not likely to leave hungry. Maybe you'll be a little messier than you arrived, but you'll be happy about it.
RJ's Bob-Be-Que is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
