Fall brings with it pumpkin spice, scarves, and beautiful fall foliage. In Wichita, it also brings one beloved, classic fall tradition — Pumpkins at the Park. Located at the Tanganyika Wildlife Park, this family-friendly event in the Sunflower State will help you celebrate this beloved time of year with a multitude of Halloween activities and entertainment. No matter your age, there are activities and experiences to help you celebrate and to create the perfect fall day trip in Kansas.
Pumpkins at the Park is Wichita’s largest Halloween event and you’ll want to come back over and over again. There are activities for children under the age of 12, teens, and even adults — no matter your age, you’ll never be bored.
The Pumpkin Trail is another favorite activity for children and parents. There are up to 15 different trick-or-treat stations set up along the paved trail where children can receive candy and small gifts.
Of course, no Pumpkins at the Park event would be complete without lots and lots of PUMPKINS! You'll want to walk through the pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin to paint or carve before Halloween night.
At this Halloween event in Kansas, there are several shows that the entire family will not want to miss. A “Mad” Scientist stage show will keep you entertained and features some incredibly mysterious experiments.
The Waterfall Light Show is also a must-see experience at Pumpkins at the Park in Kansas. Listen to some of the most popular Halloween songs while being entertained with bright and bold lights by the water.
For the brave teens and adults who attend this Halloween event, take your turn in the Cage Maze of Doom. You’ll navigate through a steel cage maze that features some of Tanganyika Wildlife Park’s scariest creatures.
Pumpkins at the Park takes place every Saturday throughout the month of October. To learn more about the various activities at Pumpkins at the Park and to book your tickets, click here.
