When you’re trying to explore Kansas alone or with your family and the restaurants are closed, we have a solution! For those traveling through the Gardener area, a place called Tumbleweed is open for meal pick up of all your favorites. If you’re in the neighborhood, come by this amazing little restaurant serving up curbside smiles.
Welcome to Tumbleweed Grill & Bar, a spot in Gardner, KS that doesn't get enough credit, in our opinion.
To those who haven't heard of them before, Tumbleweed is a hometown grill where food and friendliness come first. It's easy to make friends when you're friendly, and they do it wonderfully.
During the Covid-19 shutdown of many businesses, The 'weed has been offering curbside pickup of daily lunches as well as standard menu items. The food is plenty good, and they've been in business since the 80s for good reason.
To order, call ahead at (913) 856-4510 and check to make sure they're not only open, but have the ability to make what you crave from their menu. They usually have a grab-and-go special that gets you on your way faster, but you can order anything they're offering if you're willing to wait.
You might miss their friendly faces, but the food still hits the spot like it would inside. Plus, you're helping to support a small business stay strong during these difficult times.
Wings, burgers, burritos, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and more make up this delicious menu. All of your bar food favorites homemade and quickly picked up for an easy process.
Other than the current situation, Tumbleweed Bar & Grill is usually open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
