Enjoying the wide open spaces and trails of Kansas is a great way to get connected with nature. Taking a peaceful day outside is a must, and Reynolds Nature Trail is a great section of Kansas to explore. Come check out what this trail in Hays has to offer!
Today's adventure leads us to Reynolds Nature Trail, a spot out near the Sternberg Museum that is great for lovers of big bones and prehistory. Hays has a lot of fossils in the vicinity, and bones even make an appearance on local trails.
Everything from wooden bridges to stone paths and prairie walks are part of this little loop. It's a pleasant bit of hiking for any age. Just be sure not to jump on them too hard!
The trail is open from sunup to sundown, and dogs are allowed as long as you keep them on a leash. Please keep the trail clean by taking everything back with you when you go.
