Sometimes when we say small town, we mean a regular small town that still has a few restaurants and places to go. Other occasions, we mean towns so small that the last population count was around one hundred. Liebenthal, Kansas is the second type of small town, but not small enough that this homemade beef jerky business would be anywhere else. Come check out what they’ve got in stock on your next trip!
Welcome to a shop on main street called Pats Beef Jerky, a spot to grab all your meat-based travel food needs in a tiny Kansas town.
Each bag is made by hand, and given lots of love and care as it makes its way into your hands for the road. They're aiming for the best beef jerky in Western Kansas, and they might just be it.
Anyone can make beef jerky, but great beef jerky takes time, experience, and careful planning of flavors. Pat works with what the community loves best, and takes care with his process from smoker ovens to your hands.
Pat’s Jerky comes in bags by weight, where 1/4 pound will run you $8 and a whole pound will only run you $30. They do come in 1/2 pound bags as well, or you can grab a 2 pound bag of pepper sticks for $30. The best part is that you know each dollar goes right back into the business and its employees.
