We all know that supporting fellow Kansans is a goal we have, but we don’t always get the option to do so. If having a healthier life can start with going to a farmers market and helping to support local farmers and craftsmen, then why not start now? There’s so many things to see and try at this amazing outdoor marketplace in Kansas. Come browse for a while, and maybe you’ll come home with produce or a new handmade product.
Welcome to the beautiful (and huge) Overland Park Farmers Market. Located near the Santa Fe Commons Park, this market has plenty of space to browse their wares for hours.
There are a large variety of products here, and not all of them are food related. Some stands sell flower baskets and bouquets, and others sell soaps made with goat milk and all natural ingredients.
You can even get fresh cooked meals here, which is definitely a good way to keep yourself from "hungry shopping." Sometimes you'll even find kombucha on tap, massage chairs, and other things that aren't there every week.
The Saturday market runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 20th to September 22 and from 8 a.m. to noon from September 28th to November 16th. Their Wednesday market run from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 22nd to September 25th.
Address: 7950 Marty Street, Overland Park, KS 66204
