Welcome to the historic Old Riverton Store, an old general store that's truly stood the test of time here in the southeast corner of Kansas.

Though the original building was destroyed in 1923, the current one was built and still retains the pressed metal ceiling, though it has lost the gasoline pumps out front.

It's a stop and shop spot for travelers on Route 66 as well as local residents, and has almost been around for 100 years now.

They're open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every other day of the week. Stop by sometime!
