This miniature cliff at a small town Kansas park is perfect for a day trip out to explore the wilder side. Of course, these mini cliffs are beautiful and fun to play near, but make sure you don’t leave anything behind or break structures we are trying to keep in good shape. Enjoy your adventure!
Welcome to Echo Cliff Park, a little known location in Dover, Kansas that you shouldn't miss out.
If you've got a good pair of water shoes and aren't too clumsy, it's fun to wade through or dip your feet in, but be aware of water levels and movement before you do. When the water's low, I just like to park a camping chair in the water and enjoy it running over my feet for a while.
The park was cleared in the 1920s, and dedicated later to be used for the public. Though it was named this in 1895, there's enough evidence of Native American use for much longer than that.
It's a great place for wildlife watching, and a secluded little area away from the bustle of the city. If you're looking for another quiet spot in Kansas to relax in, this might just be it.
