There is nothing better than biting into a fresh, juicy piece of produce. At Meadowlark Farm, located in Rose Hill, you can enjoy some of the freshest produce in the Sunflower State. This family-owned farm grows a variety of produce all year long and is definitely one of the best u-pick farms in Kansas. From apples and peaches to pumpkins and strawberries, this may become one of your favorite places to visit in Kansas.
Meadowlark Farm was started in 2010 by Kansas natives Tom and Gina Brown. They went right to work planting a large assortment of fruits and vegetables.
The assortment of apples is extensive and you can likely find and pick your favorite apple type.
Some of the apples grown at Meadowlark Farm include Honeycrisp, Jonathan, Cortland, Zestar, Gala, Empire, Jonagold, and more.
During your visit, make sure you grab some fresh-pressed hard cider. This farm currently produces four kinds of hard cider: Meadowlark Red, Meadowlark Gold, Meadow Hopper, and Meadowlark Peach.
Plan to stop by each Saturday evening to pick fresh produce, listen to live music, and enjoy some hard cider.
