Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Long-time restaurants in Kansas are popular with good reason. You typically have a guarantee that the food is delicious or else these places wouldn’t stay in business so long. The service is often wonderful, and most of these iconic spots have comfortable environments that make you feel right at home. While there may be some changes over the years to keep up with the time, oftentimes, these places feel the same as they did decades prior. One of our favorite timeless restaurants in the Sunflower State is Toots Drive-In. It’s been a staple of small town Howard for nearly 70 years!
