She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Kansas has an unfair reputation as a flyover state, somewhere that’s not worth a stop where there isn’t much to see. Anyone who has spent any time here knows nothing could be further from the truth. We have some remarkably scenic landscapes in the Sunflower State. Though we’re often thought of as perfectly flat, we have some beautiful rolling hills, gorgeous valleys, and, of course, perfectly pristine prairies. If you’re looking for an ideal spot to catch a sunset in the Sunflower State, check out the Konza Prairie Valley Overlook in Manhattan. This little roadside stop has some of the best views in Kansas!
