It’s everywhere, from Kansas City to Kanorado, we absolutely love our barbecue. Overall, we know that Kansas City on either side is king of BBQ, especially Joe’s, which was named the best barbecue in the country. This place might not have that kind of exposure, but it’s certainly one of the best places in Kansas to find great barbecue every time!
How do we know it’s the best? You’ll only get a photo of the front door early in the morning or after they’ve run out of food for the day.
Soon after it opens for the day, there's a line headed out the door. This happens pretty often, and you'll end up seeing a sign in the window during the day saying they've run out of meat for the day. They open at 11, but sometimes they're out by 1:30!
If that's not a good sign of great food, I don't know what is! If you're still not sure, you can ask anyone in the line whether Slap's has good BBQ, and I'm sure they'll tell you it's the best.

So, if you'd like to try their ribs and burnt ends, make sure you're there when they open or within the first hour! Otherwise you'll have to settle for something else just as delicious. These guys are living the dream every day! Doesn't this just look scrumptious?
