Welcome to Part 2 of our Kansas Thrift Shop Road Trip series! We gathered up places featured in your comments on the last trip and created another road trip for you to go on.
Feel free to travel from east or west, and follow the trail. Altogether, it's almost 14 hours of driving, or 845 miles. Hooray for adventure!
1. TRM Boutique on the Boulevard
First on our list if you're headed from the east is this Topeka boutique that sells used items at cheaper prices. It's hard to tell what you'll find here, because they have a little bit of everything. Here, $1 from every purchase goes back to the Topeka Rescue Mission. Plus, each $1 spent provides 9 meals for those in need in the local community.
2. TACOL Thrift Store
Next up is TACOL in Lindsborg, where you can sift through aisles of clothing, furniture, and more and relax in the calming act of thrifting.
3. Grand Staff Thrift Boutique
This shop in Buhler isn't your average thrift shop in Kansas, it also benefits abandoned, orphaned, and vulnerable children in Swaziland, Africa. Each purchase, you get a new item and hungry kids get meals.
4. Neighbors Store
This shop in Halstead is full of clothes, household items, knick-knacks, and more. There's a lot of places your new favorite thrift store find could be hiding, so don't forget to browse everything!
5. Joseph's Storehouse
Joseph's in Burden, Kansas, is another thrift store our readers recommended to us, and there's a lot to see here. Clothes, blankets, toys, books, and furniture as well. You'll never know if you'll leave with a new shirt or a new couch, but that's what thrifting's all about!
5. Anthony Thrift Shop
There's a shop hiding out in Anthony that's full of clothing and household finds that you might not have spotted from the street. It's part of their historic main street, and once you're inside, you'll be lost in the history of the building and the thrifting you'll be doing.
6. A Second Time Around
Here in Dodge City, you'll find a thrift store with plenty of jewelry, clothing, and other household items that locals have given up over the years. Hidden gems galore!
7. A Second Chance
In the last list, we highlighted A Second Chance in Hutch, but this one is in La Crosse. It's another great location, with plenty of things to find, if you've got the time to browse.
8. Serendipity
Though this is more of a consignment than a thift store, Serendipity in Russell is a spot where you can find clothes of all sizes in great quality, with no holes, stains, tears, or otherwise. Everything here in good quality thrifting material!
9. United Methodist Thrift Store
Our last thrift shop on the list is United Methodist in St Francis, where you can find regular household items, clothes priced by the bag, and more.
There’s a lot to see here, so we’ve made a map for you to follow or change with your own driving plans. For a link to the map you see below, click here.
