Kansans have always been dreamers. We love to travel, we love to eat and we love our family. All of those things come together at this one restaurant that used to be a simple railroad station but has evolved into something much more. Let’s head down to southeast Kansas and check out this restaurant that you’re sure to love.
Welcome to Shindigs Bar & Grill, where you're bound to have a great time with friends and delicious food.
It's a new restaurant in Winfield, and they've created their entire space in and around an old railroad station. They've been making great progress since they opened up in April of 2017.
Once the owners, Rob & Janet Carroll (and their daughters) found out the building was up for sale, they snagged it up, leading to one of the best restaurants in town.
After three years of work put into it, the restaurant opened with great success and has recently hit 100,000 customers served at the beginning of 2018.
They serve small dishes as well as full dinners, which means you're always going to find something no matter what you're in the mood for. Everything from fried sausage, to soup and steak is served here at Shindigs.
It's an amazing place to take your family for a night out, especially if you're in the neighborhood.
We think it's a great place to add to your 2018 bucket list, but we think once you've gone once, you'll keep coming back for more.
You can find them at 500 Main Street in Winfield, or use the map below to help you get there. Happy trails!
