It was originally constructed in 1867 by the Leavenworth, Lawrence & Fort Gibson Railroad. Ever since it lost use, it's been taking happy passengers from Baldwin City to Ottawa Junction.

The scenery you'll find along the 3-hour Sunday trip is full of eastern Kansas farmland and beautiful skies, with plenty of fall leaves if they change color in time.
