It’s hungry time here in the Sunflower State and what have we got today? Fresh, mouthwatering, fried chicken! When you talk to other Kansans, it’s almost always agreed that we enjoy a nice crunchy plate of this stuff. I sure haven’t met anyone yet who doesn’t enjoy it, have you? Chicken Mary's is an area chain for a reason, and every shop is just as good as the last. They know their chicken inside and out, and frying is the best way to eat it. Plus, the sides are sublime too!
Chicken fried steak counts too (for those of you who don't like messier foods) and The Greenery is a great place to get quality homestyle meals.

They've got the juiciest strips, and fantastic gizzards (or livers instead, if you're like me) for you to snack on in-house, or drive through. Oh, and their honey mustard is mouthwatering.
This restaurant is attached to Trampolazerrockball Park, it's a great place for kids and adults to get their munch on. Their wings are some of the best in Topeka, for sure.

Oh this place? I found it a few weeks ago on my hunt for a good meal in Salina. They're serving juicy fried chicken up until close, with nothing left to be desired...except more!
Okay, I know this is about chicken, and really they have fantastic food here, but if you're a lover of strawberry rhubarb pie, then please get some here. It's probably the best slice I've ever had, and if you've had better, please let me know!
