I hope you’re hungry, Kansas, because it’s time for tacos. Sometimes you only crave tacos when it’s Tuesday, and other times you can’t get enough of them no matter what day of the week it is. Do you see that little red overhead in between these buildings in Lawrence? That tiny shop is Taco Zone, one of the best spots for tacos in the state.
Their meats are slowly braised right here at the shop, and everything is made from scratch from quality ingredients to make sure each taco is just as good as the last.
Of course, picking only one flavor is the hard part. They have 17 different guisado fillings listed, and we encourage you to come back again and again until you've tried them at all at least once.
When you're in the mood for crazy good flavors at a great price, you'll find it at Taco Zone. They're open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
You’ll find Taco Zone at 13 E 8th St, Lawrence, Kansas. If you want to know what’s on the menu when you visit, check for updates at their Facebook page. If you would like to see their full menu, check out their website here.
If you want some tacos that are a little more Kansas-esque, check out this Wizard of Oz themed taco shop that serves up great tacos as well.
