Do you like reading while you eat, or just relaxing over breakfast in a book nook? Not only does this amazing restaurant have good food made from the heart, they also have a selection of books for you to peruse while you’re here. Have you ever been to a library restaurant before?
Welcome to Beautiful Day Cafe, a restaurant in Wichita that's more than your average place to eat.
This cafe is not only beautiful on the inside with homey furniture and local art, but the outside as well. There's a garden right next to the building, full of all sorts of things that inspired the cafe's name.
They serve breakfast and lunch menu items that rotate with the seasons to ensure they use as much organic and local produce as possible. Just look at this amazing french toast and porridge! What better way to start your day than with a homemade breakfast?
Even if you're here for breakfast, you might want to order lunch as well. Their triple grilled cheese with mushrooms is more than enough to get you hooked.
Of course, the best part (besides the food) is the miniature lending library they have here. This little book corner is the perfect nook for reading and enjoying a morning coffee, if you so choose.
We also recommend trying their desserts. Not that breakfast or lunch isn't enough, but their "cheez cake" is super tasty despite being different than your average New York style slice.
