1. Majestic Service Truck Stop and Restaurant - 510 W US Business Highway 36 Saint Francis, Kansas
This amazing little joint in Saint Francis serves up one of the best breakfast burritos you'll ever have. If by some chance you don't like burritos, then i suggest you grab some of their amazing fried chicken. Or, have both!

2. Jiffy Burger - Highway 36, Smith Center, Kansas
Jiffy Burger is still making the best food in town, especially when it comes to their burgers and fried sides. Plus, you can't beat their friendly attitude and family atmosphere.
3. Prairie Nut Hut - 1306 Quincy St., Altoona, Kansas
Prairie Nut Hut serves the best mountain oysters in Kansas, but if you're not nuts for nuts, you'll also find their sandwiches are top notch. Their family-friendly attitude makes any time here a great time.
4. Nelson's Landing - 107 N Erpelding Rd., Leonardville, Kansas
If you haven't been to Nelson's Landing, take a peek at this chicken fried steak and tell me you're not in love with it. Can't do it? Then head on down, and cover it with gravy for a dinner you'll never forget.
Olpe Chicken House is the best spot for fried chicken in the area, unless you're a fan of Annie's or Mary's in Pittsburg. I know plenty of Kansans who could argue hours over who is the best, but I'd rather eat all three!
Tri-Corner is the best place to get geared up for fishing, enjoy a hearty meal, or rent a boat or camper for your trip. They do it all, and that's what makes this restaurant so special when it comes to Kansas weekend trips.

If you've never had Korean cuisine, here's a great place to try it for the first time. Their lunch specials are hard to beat, and who knows, maybe you'll leave with a new favorite food!

Dagwood is a KCK classic, with plenty of loyal patrons who know just how great a Dagwood breakfast is. One bite of their biscuits and gravy, and you'll be a fan for life.

Brianna's cafe has all sorts of delicious meals to satisfy any customer. They range from salads and burgers to street tacos and fajitas, to chili and homemade pies. They've got a little bit of everything going on, so make sure you stop by and try them sometime!

10. Smokey's BBQ - 510 Main St., Wellsville, Kansas
Smokey's BBQ is new to me, but once I tried their hot beef sandwich, that was the end of it. I was hooked! Their family friendly service leaves nothing to be desired, either. Eating here is eating with family.
