It’s getting colder every week, and we can’t wait for the holidays to get here already. It might not even be December yet, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a night out surrounded by lights! This amazing winter drive through a rainbow of holiday lights is just the thing you’ll need after Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving? Yes indeed, this stunning drive-through of lights is open that evening, and there’s not a better way to let dinner settle than watching the show go by your windows afterwards.
It's hosted by The Arc of Sedgwick County, and is one of their largest fundraisers to help support children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It's the most unique light display in Kansas, with nearly all of the lights handmade by their volunteers.
Over 1.9 million lights are here to view, and the magical tunnel is an enchanting view for anyone who loves their holiday cheer. Admission is $10 on Friday and Saturday nights, and donations all other nights.
The best part is by far getting to view them from the warmth of your car! There's not really a way to walk through, and being inside your vehicle keeps your fingers and toes nice and toasty. Many cars make their way along the path every year. Will yours be one too?
