With new places opening up every month, and more and more added to your bucket lists for the year, there’s a few highlights we don’t want you to miss out on. These hidden places are usually only familiar with locals and their friends, and they need a little extra love sometimes. They’re worthy of this list, and they’re probably worthy of yours as well! Have you heard of or visited any of these?
In Blue Rapids, there sits a falls called Alcove Springs. Once a popular stop for people traveling the Oregon Trail, this spot has been used since Native Americans settled the area so long ago. The tiny trickles of water are so, so soothing downstream from the larger falls. It looks great around this time of year when it's raining so often!
This floral paradise is filled with trees of many types and sizes. The views to be had here are truly one of a kind, I promise.

Bourbon State Fishing Lake in Elsmore is home to this gorgeous show of rushing water, as well as plenty of space to break out your fishing poles.
