The whole town is covered in fall foliage when the colors are brightest, but this bed and breakfast shines the brightest.
Glick Mansion is a Victorian home that was originally built in 1873 for George Glick, the 9th governor of Kansas when he moved here from Ohio. George Glick's law partner was Amelia Earhart's grandfather, another Atchison resident that went down in the history books.
Just staying the night in a vintage styled room can give you that refreshing start to the day that you were looking for. Plus, being surrounded by old furniture feels like a night at grandma's house. Everything's an antique — but in a good way.
Stay here the whole time or explore the historic city, but either way, you'll have an amazing time here.
