Do you love fabric for quilting and other crafts? Maybe you’ve been wanting to sew something handmade for a while and haven’t found the right pattern yet. For that, I say we head down to this fabric barn in Kansas that’s just waiting to be explored. They have quite a bit of space, and plenty of colors for you to choose from. Come take a look!
Welcome to Needle in a Haystack, a place that's surprisingly easy to find, and stocked with hundreds of colors and patterns to choose from.
It has a tower out front, sporting the name of the building in large letters for anyone to see as they drive by. However, it's pretty far out there as is. It's a little over an hour east of Wichita, along U.S. 400.
Of course, as soon as you walk in the doors, the magic happens. Colors of every shade and combination are stocked everywhere, on shelves and in sections just like this one. It's not long before you'll be combing through them all, to pick out your favorites.
They love quilting so much, they sell machines and display works everywhere, even the ceiling. With any luck, and help from these fabrics, your quilts will be just as beautiful!
You’ll find Needle in a Haystack at 207 Q Rd, Severy, Kansas. Luckily enough, it’s surrounded by open area and not in an actual haystack of buildings! For more information, check out their website or their Facebook page.
To go along with this fabric barn, why not also visit our yarn barn as well! It’s huge, and they have more than enough yarn to go around.
