It seems as though every time you turn on the news, there is some sort of a report on drugs in our neighborhoods, community and state. The statistics are staggering; recreational, prescription and hard drugs are readily available and more affordable than ever.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, though gradually decreasing, both marijuana grow sites and methamphetamine labs continue to be a problem in the state of Kansas. 10. Barton County

In 2013, Barton County seized 5 lbs. of marijuana from an indoor grow site.
9. Douglas County

The KBI reported finding more than 4.5 lbs. of marijuana at an indoor grow site and one meth dump site both within Douglas County limits.
8. Thomas County

Though Thomas County has a population of only 7,900, the KBI uncovered over 61 lbs. of marijuana from indoor grow sites.
7. Johnson County

In 2014, two meth labs were discovered and seized in Johnson County.
6. Sedgwick County
