Sometimes you’re hungry for more than just food, you also want something that’ll make you feel good on the inside as well as sate your hunger. Of course, there’s plenty of restaurants around Kansas that serve comfort food, but this one might be news to you! A new spot opened up in our state, and just look at what they’re serving.
Welcome to FYRE, a comfort and soul food restaurant in Wichita that serves up smiles and that at-home feeling you want from a plate of good food.
This might be new to many Kansans, but did you know ox tails smothered in gravy are absolutely delicious? Fall-of-the-bone soft, and perfect to warm you up from the inside.
Feel free to order a feast for yourself, but you know what they say, the more the merrier. Once you step inside FYRE for a meal, you'll feel just like family.
Fyre is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1 to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
You’ll find FYRE at 2724 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS. Next time you’re in the city, why not give it a try? Here’s a handy map to help you find them, and if you need more information, you’ll find it at their website here.
