Are you ready to start exploring our beautiful state yet? Even if it’s cold or rainy today, you should still add this amazing bridge trail to your outdoor bucket list. Kansas only gets better the more places we discover!
What you see here is Southwind Rail Trail, a spot in Kansas that's equal parts beautiful and energizing. This amazing trail goes from Iola to Humboldt, Kansas and takes you on a great journey in between.
Most of the trail is packed gravel and easy to navigate, almost a straight shot the whole way. The total trail is 13.7 miles long, and is best used on foot or on a bike. Even those reclining bikes do well on this path, as long as it hasn't been super wet recently.
