Hey, Kansans! Do you like exploring the strange, odd, or just plain weird? Here in Kansas, you’ll find everything from normal to crazy all over the place, but today we’ve found something special to share with you. This bizarre attraction in eastern Kansas is worth the travel time, but don’t forget your camera! You’ll want to keep memories of this place for a long while. There’s nothing quite like this anywhere else, and we’re proud to be its home.
Welcome to Truckhenge, a grassroots art display that is part of the Lessman Farm & Catfish Pond.
A man named Ron Lessman has collected quite a few trucks and other "junk" on his property, and Shawnee County wasn't having it. He liked his trucks, but the judge in charge ordered him to "pick up his trucks" and so... he did! Up they went, and so did his local fame.
The number they have provided is 785-234-3486 for scheduling a tour or any other questions.
You’ll find Truckhenge at 4124 NE Brier Road, in Topeka, Kansas. Feel free to use the map below to help you find your way there, if you’d like. Happy trails!
If you’ve been looking for the perfect family trip, but Truckhenge is a little too odd, you’ll want to check out these 11 activities that are fun for the whole family.
