Rock River Rapids is my all-around favorite place to go when I want to spend all day on one of the best float trips in KS. You can bet it's truly relaxing, among the sounds of children playing and water splashing.

One of the best floats in KS is a scenic, five-mile stretch of the Arkansas River, accessible via the river concessioner Arkanoe. This unforgettable adventure takes you from the 4th Avenue Bridge to Carey Park in Hutchinson, featuring sand bars and abundant wildlife. You can expect to spend around four hours floating the river (less if you opt for a canoe or kayak rather than a tube.)
