Are you ready for all of the Fourth of July festivities this year? There’s nothing more magical than ending a great day in Kansas by blowing up the sky with color and light. After all, food and fire go well together! Here’s a short list of the absolute best fireworks shows happening this year. However, you can look back at our list of shows that happened in 2017 if you would rather find somewhere small to celebrate instead. I’m sure many of them happen annually! Now, without any further ado, let’s see what the biggest and best fireworks shows in 2018 are going to be.
When you think of huge Kansas fireworks shows, Peabody might not be the first place to pop into your mind. However, you'll find that their carnival, horseshoe tournament, and dog show is the perfect way to start a day ending in fireworks at dusk.
If you've never been to Wamego, you should definitely visit on a day like this. Fireworks start at 10 p.m. but you can enjoy a full day of food, carnival rides, hot wheels race, parade, and more.
Enjoy concessions, live music, and lounging around enjoying your time until the sky fills with colored fire at 9:45. If it does rain, the fireworks will be held off until the evening of July 5th.
