Most of our diners around Kansas don’t have the super-retro feel of 50s-style diners like Spangles, but that’s probably because Kansas has always been a quieter state. This retro diner in small-town Kansas might not be flashy, but you’ll feel like you stepped into the past with their amazing service and small-town Kansas vibes.
Welcome to Retro Diner, a 50s style restaurant hiding out in Leavenworth, Kansas that is serving up our classic hospitality with standard country fare.
Inside, the classic red-and-black you're used to seeing isn't around anymore, though the decor remains the same as you'd see in retro diners elsewhere.
However, the food is definitely from the present era. Classic flavors like sandwiches, burgers, and sides come together in the present to keep everyone fed and happy.
Of course, every diner worth its salt makes a good breakfast, and they have everything from classic pancakes or biscuits and gravy to the "everything but the kitchen sink" omelette you see here.
