The "Natural Farm" part of their name is the truest way to describe the food here. It's a farm-to-table restaurant as well as a B&B! Stay the night and say hi to the cows before getting your brunch on the next day. It's worth a stop!

5. Brookville Hotel — 105 E Lafayette Ave., Abilene, Kansas
If you still haven't been to Brookville Hotel yet, consider this your formal reminder. The fried chicken dinners here are something to call home about, but you won't have to call if you bring them with you! Everything from the chicken to the pickles are homemade, and you'll taste it in every bite.

Did someone say pie? If you plan to dine here, make sure you reserve your pie ahead of time (or order one the day before) because they fly off the counter like hotcakes. Otherwise, your food comes out fast and is made just like mama used to. Our favorite!

Ty's is a classic place in Wichita where you can get a messy burger that fills you up for hours. Fried mushrooms, chili, and other homemade dishes are also amazing, but don't expect your food to be run-of-the-mill. This ain't a fast food joint!
