These 11 restaurants are fantastic places to get home style food with no reservation at all. In addition to that, some of these are in towns you might not have heard of. I hope you’re hungry!
Do you love home style food? Then Big C's loves you! They make amazing fried catfish, and their breaded porkchops feel like the missing piece in your stomach. Plus, a sundae is the best way to end a filling meal here.

The Chubby Pickle is a great place where you'll leave feeling a little chubby yourself. The food is great, and their pies make it so much better. Homemade food is something you don't find everywhere, so when you get a bowl of soup and a slice of pie, you'll know you've found it here.
Cow Bell Cafe is simple food cooked just like your mother would make it. Their pies are made with love in every bite, and you'll find yourself feeling right at home here.
Welcome to Firecracker Cafe! Besides this giant cheeseburger begging to be eaten in 20 minutes or less, I can't recommend their breakfast enough. Their biscuits and gravy are awesome, especially with their western omelets.

This diner seems like it's from another time period - which is why its name suits it so well! Their food is what you'd want at a diner, with no fancy expectations, only flavor.

If you can't tell from the photo above, you really need to order the fried chicken at Hometown Cafe (on Wednesdays.) They're open Mon-Sat 7am to 2pm, so make sure you don't show up late for it!

Jerry's Again is a lunchtime restaurant, so you'll have to catch it on weekdays between 11 am and 3 pm. They have great sandwiches, but Jerry's pies are the real winner. Make sure you reserve a slice while you're eating, or else it may already be gone when you're done!
Built in 1964, the current owner of this delicious establishment has had it since 1978. They have amazing breakfasts and very filling evening meals, so don't be a stranger if you love their food. Come back for every meal while you're here. (That's what I'd do!)
Everything form quesadillas to catfish can be found at this barn and grill, which is a great reason to keep coming back. Mayberry's has all sorts of great food to try, but my favorite will always be the cinnamon rolls. They're just so tasty!

Breakfast here is divine, but if you're not awake in time, you can enjoy any number of sandwiches, wraps, and a nice slice of pie to go with it.
This restaurant and bar serves all three meals of the day, which means you have three times the reason to come back for their delicious food. I mean, look at that french dip!
