We all know just how great of a state Kansas is, but sometimes statistics prove we aren’t perfect. The first step to fixing a problem is acknowledging you have one, right? Well, here are 10 troubling facts about Kansas that we’re working on, or will soon. Let’s hope these improve soon!

1. We don't require sex education in schools. If we do have education for sex/HIV, it doesn't have to be medically accurate.

Which is ridiculous. You'd think we would value our education, but with recent budget cuts to public schools across the state, you know that's not true at a state level.
2. Kansas has a 4.2 perfect unemployment rate, but bigger cities like Wichita have around 6 percent.

Six percent of 340,000 people is a lot. That comes out to 20,400 people and that's insane to think about.
3. We rank #6 on the "most moved FROM state" list.

4. Only 89 percent of kids graduate from high school. That's 15th in the U.S.
