We know you love exploring Kansas one step at a time – or in this case, one trail at a time. Out here on this loop trail, Kansas looks just as stunning as it always has. Will you be adventuring out here on the Konza Prairie someday soon? Come check out one of our favorite paths through the area.
Welcome to the gorgeous Konza Prairie, specifically a trail called King's Creek Loop.
Enjoy traipsing over the little wooden bridge over the water only three people at a time, and weaving in and around the trees as you go. There are a few key points on the trail guide at the beginning, so make sure to remember those!
We love just listening to the wind going through the grasses as we gaze over the endless hills of the Konza Prairie. Hiking can take a while when you stop to take in all the beauty that Kansas gives you.
For fans of wildflowers, open prairie, and plenty of rolling hills, we think this trail might be the perfect day out in nature you've been looking for.
Note: on this trail, pets and bikes are not allowed. The trail is part of a natural habitat study and domestic pets would impact the local wildlife. Please make sure to never leave trash or anything behind on your trip!
