There’s just something about small town Kansas that makes food taste so much better. Maybe we care more, or maybe there’s just something we’re doing differently. Whatever it is, this western Kansas pub does it right, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Come take a look at today’s pick! (Or should I say, catch?) This is one X on the map that marks treasure you won’t want to miss out on.
Welcome to Cap'n Jack's Pub, a place where the captain himself might not be, but surely his spirit (and love of spirits) resides.
It's a small town restaurant in Oakley, Kansas that specializes in seafood, flown in weekly to ensure freshness. As fresh as you can get in Kansas, that is.
Inside, you'll find pirate decor at every corner, but no one here will make you walk the plank.
Instead, think of it as a new family, and a new home away from home. After all, you'll find nothing but hospitality and amazing food at this western Kansas pub.

The food is as fresh as it gets, with hand breaded fish fry and plenty of sea and non-sea food options.
