Kansans all over are lucky to be living in one of the best states ever. Living here, we’ve got a few privileges and perks from the spaces around us and the people living here with us. Not only are there regular perks to living here, but special ones that are Kansas-only. Here are a few of our favorites, but feel free to add your own ideas in the comments.

Other states might have bierocks or "runza" as some call them, but they'll never compare to the ones made by Kansans whose ancestors brought the recipe here originally.

There's no small town like small-town, Kansas. Of course, that also means that you'll fall in love with these small towns full of history and wonderful people.

No other state has Monument Rocks, Rock City, and Mushroom Rock State Park like we do!

Kansas sunsets are so breathtaking, plenty of us will even stop on a side street just to get a good photo.

Small town restaurants are great places to feel connected to the town and the people in it. Plus, the food is amazing.

Okay, so we know it's not a mountain, but Mt. Sunflower is a great place to visit and add your name to the list.

Arikaree Breaks, the Gypsum Hills, the Sand Hills, and more. We're so lucky to live surrounded by so many different areas.

Other states have sunflower fields, but they're nothing like how Kansas does sunflowers. All over in the late summer and fall, you can see sunflowers across the state.

Kansans are a wonderful sort, with plenty of lifetime friends, if only you explore.
