It’s always a wild time when you’re exploring a Kansas nature park, but this one in particular is great for bringing back your love of the outdoors. The fresh breeze through your hair and the sound of trees and water moving around you is just too much to not enjoy. Next time you’re feeling in a bit of a funk, consider exploring this park and bringing back your natural love for nature.
Welcome to Ernie Miller Park and Nature Center, where you can find a stunning amount of scenery as well as a center where you can learn more about the nature you're surrounded by.
The center is a great place to learn about our local ecosystems and wildlife, and how they live together in our state. There's plenty of fun opportunities to interact with the exhibits and see live animals that live in the area to help make learning fun.
However, exploring the trails winding through the trees is even more than touring exhibits. There aren't any bikes or pets allowed here, but you'll find people exploring the trails to their heart's content.
The trail is rated as easy to travel, and there's plenty to see while you're walking along. Plus, any park with a nice bridge is a park worth exploring.
Have you ever visited this beautiful park and nature center before? If you have any park recommendations for the future, please share them in the comments section. If you’re looking for a little more water in your nature adventures, we recommend all of these beautiful waterfalls, especially after spring rains.
