10 Holiday Markets In Kansas Where You'll Find Incredible Stuff
If you haven’t noticed, we here at Only in Kansas are pretty stoked about the upcoming holiday season. With Thanksgiving this week, it is almost time to get into full-blown Christmas mode… and what better way to do so than by shopping around these 10 holiday markets in Kansas where you’ll find incredible stuff?

For traditional Christkindlmarkt food and drink, plus an assortment of one-of-a-kind gifts, there is only one German Christmas Market (which takes place on the first Saturday every December).

Also taking place on December 3rd at Canton-Galva Jr./Sr. High School is the Christmas Wishes Craft and Vendor Fair, which brings together local vendors, concessions, and (my favorite) babysitting.

Located at the Sunflower North Building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson is the Robinson's Christmas Craft Show; a free market featuring more than 100 vendors plus a hot lunch and snacks. (Robinson's Christmas Craft Show takes place Saturday, December 3rd.)

Taking place on both December 3rd and 17th is Manhattan's 62nd Winter Market, which showcases not only unique gifts, but fresh fruit, produce, baked goods and other deliciousness.

Feel great while you shop, as profits from this Derby tradition benefit the Woodlawn United Methodist Church and their local and national missions. (The Winterfest Arts and Crafts Bazaar takes place December 3rd.)

Local artisans and business owners will be coming together on December 4th at the Kirk House for this annual and oh-so-chic shopping event.

This 3-day event (which runs December 9th through 11th) houses not only holiday vendors (40 to be exact), but a parade, special Victorian-era events, visits from Santa, and more.

Have you ever seen so much fun and festive decor? There's a lot more where that came from at the "Walkin' in a Rusted Wonderland," which runs December 7th through 11th at the Rusted Rooster in Andover.

For a boutique shopping experience complete with hot cocoa and gorgeous wrapping station, check out the Merry Little Holiday Market at Wichita's Jax & Co. on December 8th.

Who says that farmer's markets are strictly summer? The Emporia Winter Farmers Market runs the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month and features all kinds of handmade goodies, fresh foods, and other surprises you won't find anywhere else.
