We all love our Flint Hills, yes? They make us think of beautiful paintings and songs about the heartland. However, at one event during the summer, you can actually hear the music of the hills.

Symphony In The Flint Hills is an event on June 15, 2019 in Chase County that's perfect for any lover of music and these beautiful hills.

This event started in 1994, when a Matfield Green rancher invited the public to a "symphony on the prairie" for her birthday. Ever since then, it's stuck to us like glue. Today, it attracts about 7,000 visitors from Kansas and across the world to see this beautiful performance.
