10 Reasons Why Other States Are Vacations And Kansas Is Always Home
No matter where you go or how far you roam, Kansas is always home. We simply couldn’t leave this state forever, there’s too much we love that we would leave behind. Which one is your biggest reason for sticking around forever?

We'd simply miss the sound of the wind going through the wheat and tallgrass. It's weird to think about, but most other states don't have wide open prairies that go on for miles just waiting for the wind to run through it.

Visiting elsewhere, I've found that you are less easily remembered. There's nothing like hearing your server or the lady who owns your local cafe knows your parents or grandparents from way back. There's simply more connections at home.

There's only a couple states with state fairs that could rival the Midwest and Kansas. We could never leave you, fried oreos and homemade ice cream!

People in other states, especially closer to the coasts, just don't chat like Kansans do. They want to mind their own business, and for you to stay in yours. If you like striking up conversation with those you're around, then Kansas is where you'll want to stay.

Without our local light shows, traditions, and meals, Christmas might not feel the same at all! We've heard of some pretty odd things that other states eat for holidays, and if that's not your thing, Kansas will always be the easiest.

It's simply easier to live where you love your teams. Whether that's the Wildcats, Shockers, Jayhawks, or the Chiefs, you'll find us here for a long time. Home games just hit different.

Kansas City and Wichita, to name two places, are among some of the best cities to drive in across the country. We know lots of states complain about drivers, but to hear that we're among the best is a welcome surprise! Less frustration is always better.

Oceans are beautiful, but we're happy knowing that our lakes will never have sharks or jellyfish in them, just to name a couple things. Sometimes it's just nice to know that the nibble on your toe was just a fish.
