This Hike In Kansas Will Make You Feel Like A Hero
Alright, Kansas; are you ready to get outside and go hiking? A common misconception is that the best hiking takes place outside of Kansas (i.e. our neighbors to the west), but anyone who thinks this has obviously never hiked Kanopolis State Park’s moderately difficult, yet insanely gorgeous Horsethief Canyon:
Though the orange Horsethief Canyon Trail may look fairly simple on paper, don’t be fooled. Well, for starters, this particular trail passes unique chalk formations, native grasslands, and jaw-dropping canyons that you won’t find anywhere else. Another reason? The bragging rights, of course!
