Do you enjoy the fresh, crisp winter air? Winter doesn’t often make you feel like hiking, but if you’re not afraid of a little cold or snow, we’ve got a gorgeous trail in mind for you. This 2-mile hike is simply beautiful in the wintertime, snow or ice included. We think you’ll love it too.
Horse Thief Trail is hiding out in Kanopolis Lake State Park, a rocky area near Kanopolis, Kansas that should never be passed up.
The ground is a little rocky, so make sure to bring good shoes and your trusty walking stick, but anyone who can handle the terrain should definitely visit. Pure, natural beauty isn't held back by something as simple as snow.
Dogs are allowed as long as they're leashed, and any visitor is encouraged to make sure they take everything with them when they leave. Keep your pace as slow as you need and enjoy the breathtaking beauty here! It's all about the adventure.
