Getting lost in Kansas nature is always a great time to be had, but visiting our nature trails is how you get lost the right way. We don’t want you going missing, after all! For that, you’ll need a well marked trail through some of our beautiful scenery. If you love to hike and bike through Kansas trails, this one running through a miniature forest and along a beautiful waterside view is a great pick.
Today we venture out to Fancy Creek State Park, where one mountain bike trail stands out and demands to be explored.
Fancy Creek Mountain Bike Trail is located out near Randolph, and sits alongside Tuttle Creek Lake, offering some stunning scenery during your hiking adventure.
Along the path, overlooks of the water keep you moving and provide a great spot to view the sky reflected onto a natural mirror. Assuming the wind gives it a break, that is.
The trail is rated as Moderate, which means that mountain bikers will have a fun challenge navigating through it while hikers shouldn't have as much of an issue.
Between the amazing views and the rugged, challenging trail, its rated as one of the best mountain biking trails in the state. If its good enough for bikes, its good enough for feet! You're bound to have a great time no matter what way you explore this trail.
The trail is open for hiking and biking, and is accessible year round from sunup to sundown. Leashed dogs are also allowed, so don't be afraid to bring your four legged friends.
