Thankfully, we have plenty of reminders every time we travel about all the places we may miss along the way. This little spot in Salina has a party potato that’ll make your taste buds boogie. Welcome to Salina's very own Hickory Hut BBQ, a restaurant that started out as a traveling shop selling in grocery store parking lots and grew to become the brick-and-mortar store you see today.

Known in Salina since 1983, Hickory Hut worked hard to stick around, and became a favorite of many Kansans. In 2005, they opened their current location to offer both drive-through and dine-in options to their ever growing market.

One menu item standing out from the rest of the barbecue is the Santa Fe Party Potato, a creation that will easily fill you up whether you choose pork toppings or not.
